We're thrillied to announce that next year will see publication of Introducing Slavoj Žižek by Christopher Kul-want and Piero.
As his Wikipedia page says, Zizek is 'a Slovenian continental philosopher and critical theorist working in the traditions of Hegelianism, Marxism and Lacanian psychoanalysis. He has made contributions to political theory, film theory, and theoretical psychoanalysis.' He's also, perhaps alongside Alain Badiou, one of the best-known 'continental' phliosophers alive today. His audience regularly stretches out far beyond the confines of academia and his work is as discussed in pubs and coffee shops as it is in lecture theatres and seminar rooms.
Christopher Kul-want is the author of Introducing Aesthetics and Introducing Kant, and Piero the illustrator of numerous Introducuing titles including Shakespeare and Capitalism.
Introducing Slavoj Žižek will probably be published in the late spring 2011 - watch this space for more details...
