It’s perfect for an A Level or university student who’s unfamiliar with the subject and would benefit from a quick overview. It succinctly covers the origins of this body of thought, the main sociological thinkers, and how sociological theory has changed and developed over time. It’s an enjoyable read that’s accompanied by sometimes humorous, although relevant, illustrations.
