The Introducing App transforms each book in its entirety into an interactive format enjoyable on mobile devices and tablets alike. Much more than just a direct conversion of the print edition, the app also features contextual note taking, public comment boards for each book, and social sharing capabilities through Twitter and Facebook. Not to mention a custom animated adaptation of the content itself, creating a look-and-feel tailor made for mobile devices.
The Introducing Graphic Guide app is free to download, which enables you to preview all of the available apps and then download them directly, where they'll be displayed under 'My Guides'. You will also have access to Graphic Guides not available in the app store, such as Kant: A Graphic Guide and Chaos: A Graphic Guide, and be able to see which apps are upcoming. Go here to download the app.
The Introducing App is optimized for both mobile and tablet devices, with support for both built into a single app.
When viewing the app on a mobile phone, each page is broken down to be easily read on a smaller screen. All illustrations are animated to further drive the narrative, and to help clarify some very challenging ideas. This approach, named Story View, offers a completely unique way to enjoy the Introducing Graphic Guide series.
For those who prefer the original book format, the tablet version also includes Classic View, which presents the pages exactly as they appear in the print version. Rotating the tablet allows readers to view one page at a time in portrait, or two at a time in landscape.
